Adding table blocks to documents

Tables help you present information in a clear, organized format that's easy for your prospects to understand and compare. Accessing Table Options

Tables are found in the same content panel as your other blocks, giving you quick access to structured content options:

1. Click the Content tab in the right sidebar
2. Look for the Table option in the main blocks section
3. Below that, you'll see the TABLES section with two specialized options:
   • Text Table: Perfect for general information, comparisons, or non-pricing content
   • Pricing Table: Pre-configured for quotes and financial presentations

Understanding Table Types

Here's what makes these table options helpful for different situations:

Text Tables These start with a clean, simple structure that's perfect for:

• Service comparison charts
• Feature lists
• Project timelines
• Technical specifications
• Any organized information that benefits from rows and columns

Pricing Tables
These come pre-configured with financial elements like:

• Name, Quantity, Price, and Subtotal columns
• Built-in calculation fields for totals
• Tax and discount sections
• Professional formatting for monetary values

Important Note: Both table types are functionally identical! The difference is simply in their starting configuration. You can easily add pricing columns and calculation features to a text table, or modify a pricing table for non-financial content. Think of them as helpful starting points rather than rigid limitations.

Adding Tables to Your Document

Simple Drag and Drop Once you've decided which table type best fits your content:

1. Select either Text Table or Pricing Table from the content panel
2. Drag your chosen table type onto your document canvas
3. Position it where you want it to appear in your content flow
4. Your table appears ready for customization and content

Table Configuration Options

When you select any table, the right sidebar reveals configuration options to help you customize the presentation:

Basic Settings

• Decimal Places: Control how many decimal places appear in numerical fields (useful for pricing precision)
• Show Totals: Toggle calculation rows on or off depending on your content needs
• Edit Table Default Styles: Access comprehensive formatting options for consistent appearance

Working with Table Layout and Organization

Resizing Table Columns Tables have a unique resizing approach that gives you precise control over column widths:

1. Position your cursor between any two column headers at the top of the table
2. Your cursor will change to a resize handle when you're in the right spot
3. Click and drag left or right to adjust the column width
4. The entire table adjusts proportionally as you resize individual columns

This method gives you much more control than traditional corner-dragging, allowing you to optimize each column for its specific content type.

Reordering Table Rows Organizing your table content is simple with drag-and-drop row reordering:

1. Hover over the dot icon (⋮⋮) on the left side of any row
2. Click and hold when you see the drag cursor appear
3. Drag the row to your desired position
4. Release to place the row in its new location

This is particularly helpful when you need to prioritize certain services, organize items by importance, or simply improve the logical flow of your table content.
