Interactive pricing: editable quantities and optional Items

Make your pricing tables interactive by allowing clients to adjust quantities and choose optional items directly in your document. These features let prospects customize their packages and see real-time cost updates.

Enabling Editable Quantities

Making Quantities Interactive:

1. Select the row you want to make editable
2. Open the Rows panel in the right sidebar
3. Toggle Allow recipient to edit to ON
4. Clients can now modify quantities for that row

How It Works: When clients view your document, they see editable quantity fields instead of static numbers. As they change quantities, subtotals and document totals automatically recalculate in real-time.

Creating Optional Items

Setting Up Optional Rows:

1. Select any row you want to make optional
2. Navigate to the Rows panel in the sidebar
3. Toggle Optional row to ON
4. Clients can now check/uncheck items to include or exclude them

Client Experience: Optional rows appear with checkboxes in the client view. When clients select or deselect items, document totals automatically adjust based on their choices.

Combining Both Features

Dual Functionality: You can enable both editable quantities and optional settings on the same row. This allows clients to both choose whether to include an item and specify how much they want.

Example Use Cases:

• Editable Quantities: Hourly services, product quantities, subscription users
• Optional Items: Add-on services, package components, extra features
• Combined: "Social Media Management (optional) - 3 months (editable quantity)"

How Interactive Elements Work

Automatic Calculations: Interactive features work seamlessly with your existing pricing calculations. All related calculations (subtotals, taxes, discounts, totals) update automatically when clients make changes.

Template Integration: Interactive settings can be configured at the template level, so all future documents generated from that template include the same interactive elements.

Real-Time Updates: Changes appear immediately in the document, giving clients instant feedback on how their selections affect the total investment.
