How to Copy Your Document Link
Accessing the Share Options
- Open your document in the editor
- Click the Share button in the top toolbar
- In the share settings panel, click Copy link
- The document link is automatically copied to your clipboard
Automatic Status Update When you copy the link, Proposify automatically changes your document status from "Draft" to "Sent." This prevents you from forgetting to update the status manually and keeps your document tracking accurate.
Using the Copied Link
Direct Sharing Once copied, you can paste the link anywhere:
- Email applications (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail)
- CRM systems and sales platforms

Creating Hyperlinks in Gmail To make your links look professional in Gmail:
- Type the text you want to be clickable (e.g., "View Your Proposal")
- Highlight the text
- Click the Link button in Gmail's toolbar (or press Ctrl+K / Cmd+K)
- Paste your Proposify document link in the URL field
- Click OK
Recipients will see "View Your Proposal" instead of a long URL.
