Creating reusable text snippets

Proposify's Snippets allows users to save text block contents to the content library and quickly reuse them across different documents. This feature streamlines document creation by providing instant access to pre-written content variations, eliminating the need to recreate similar text blocks repeatedly.

How to Use Snippets

Creating a Snippet

1. In the document editor, select the text block you want to save as a snippet
2. Click on the Save icon next to the block to Create a new snippet
   
3. Enter a descriptive name for your snippet and click Save

Using Saved Snippets

1. Select the text block where you want to insert snippet content
2. Click on the Insert icon next to the block to Insert a snippet
   
3. Browse your saved snippets in the right side bar and click on the one you want to use
4. The selected snippet content will replace your current text block content

How Snippets Work

Snippets capture the complete text content from any text block in your document and store it in your content library for future use. When you apply a snippet to a text block, it replaces the existing content while maintaining the block's formatting and styling properties.

Content Library Organization Your snippets are organized in the content library where you can:

• View all saved snippets
• Delete snippets you no longer need
• Duplicate snippets
