How It Works
The integration establishes a two-way connection between Proposify and Zoho that:
- Pushes document activity and status updates back to Zoho,
- Syncs contact, company, and deal data as fields from Zoho to Proposify
When properly configured, the integration will automatically map Zoho deal information to your Proposify documents, keeping your sales data consistent across both platforms and streamlining your document creation process.
Getting Started
Setting Up Your Zoho Integration
Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:
- An active Proposify account with admin or integration-related permissions,
- A Zoho account with appropriate permissions
Enable the Integration
- In Proposify, click on the Integrations icon in the left sidebar, and on the main integrations page, select the Zoho card:
- Click on Connect in the Zoho Connection card:
This will ask for the connection permission, and once that has been approved, you'll see the connection card with a green dot, versus yellow:
- Be sure to connect to Proposify, and then select Next.
Mapping Fields
Now it's time to set up your objects! Choose which Object Types you'll like to eventually pull from, like Deal, Contacts, etc:
Next, you'll select your Primary Object. The Primary Object is the main way to link your Proposify document to Zoho, and will nest fields directly under it in the document creation phase.
You'll need to complete a quick readiness check which is done in the background - you just need to select "next"!
The Object Fields will let you customize what information you actually will need, and what you'd like to use in your documents. Things like, Deal Name, Closing Date, etc are options you can choose from the Deals Object:
Once you select all applicable fields, click Finish. You can revisit this and adjust at any time by going to the Zoho integration card from the integration page, and select Reconfigure.
What Happens Next?
Once connected:
- Any time an object (contact, deal, line item, etc.) is added or updated in Zoho, we'll receive that data.
- Your linked proposals will automatically reflect these updates.
