Pipedrive integration

The Pipedrive integration establishes a two-way connection between Proposify and Pipedrive that:

  • Pushes document activity and status updates back to Pipedrive,
  • Pulls contact, company, and deal data from Pipedrive to Proposify,

When properly configured, the integration will automatically map Pipedrive deal information to your Proposify documents, keeping your sales data consistent across both platforms and streamlining your document creation process.

Setting Up Your Pipedrive Integration

Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:

  • An active Proposify account with admin or integration-related permissions,
  • A Pipedrive account with appropriate permissions

Enable the Integration

  1. In Proposify, click on the Integrations icon in the left sidebar, and on the main integrations page, select the Pipedrive card: integrationsV3Page.jpg
  2. Click on Connect in the Pipedrive Connection card:

     This will ask for the connection permission, and once that has been approved, you'll see the connection card with a green dot, versus yellow:
     
  3. Be sure to connect to Proposify, and then select Next.

🧩 Mapping Fields

Now it's time to set up your objects! Choose which Object Types you'll like to eventually pull from, like Deal, Contacts, Line Items, etc:


 

Next you'll select your Primary Object. This is the main object that you want to link Proposify documents to, and will act as the base for pulling in all fields. For example: If you select "Deals" as the primary object, other objects like "Organization" and "Contact" from the previous step will import automatically when you connect to a Deal.

In the final step, click through the tabs and select which fields you want to import for each object. 

Once you select all applicable fields, click Finish. You can revisit this and adjust at any time by going to the Pipedrive integration card from the integration page, and select Reconfigure.
 

🔁 What Happens Next?

Once connected:

  • Any time an object (contact, deal, line item, etc.) is added or updated in Pipedrive, we'll receive that data.
  • Your linked proposals will automatically reflect these updates.
     

Connecting Pipedrive to Proposify documents

In your document settings, find and click on "Link integration". 

If you have multiple integrations connected, click on the dropdown and select Pipedrive. Then, search for and select the deal you want to connect to. 

Stage Mapping

Go to Automations to create Flows that trigger Pipedrive stage changes from Proposify events. 

To create a mapping, create a simple rule that triggers from a document in Proposify being Won. 
Next, add an action and select "Move Pipedrive deal" from the dropdown. On the right, select the stage you want to move the deal to.
