Font selection significantly impacts your document's professional appearance and brand consistency. Proposify provides access to 799 fonts from Google Fonts, which you can selectively enable to keep your editor running smoothly.
Accessing Font Management
Finding Font Settings
- Navigate to Settings using the gear icon in the left sidebar
- Click Available Fonts from the account settings options
- The fonts management page opens with search and filtering tools
Font Library Overview
Google Fonts Integration Proposify includes the complete Google Fonts library with 799 available typefaces. To optimize editor performance, fonts are disabled by default and must be individually enabled for use in your documents.
Font Categories Fonts are organized with helpful labels indicating their character sets:
- Latin: Standard Western character support
- Latin Extended: Additional European character support
- Other Character Sets: Various international language support
Enabling Fonts
Activating Individual Fonts
- Browse the font list or use Search font library to find specific typefaces
- Each font displays with preview text: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"
- Toggle the switch on the right side to ON to enable the font
- Enabled fonts immediately become available in the text formatting toolbar
Managing Enabled Fonts
- Use Show Installed Fonts to view only your currently enabled typefaces
- Toggle fonts OFF to remove them from your formatting options
- No limit on the number of fonts you can enable
Using Fonts in Documents
Accessing Enabled Fonts Once fonts are enabled in settings, they appear in:
- Text formatting toolbar dropdown in the document editor
- Font selection options in text styling panels
- Default style configuration menus
Font Application
- Select text in any text block
- Open the font dropdown in the formatting toolbar
- Choose from your enabled fonts list
- Selected font applies immediately to highlighted text
Font Performance Considerations
Editor Optimization The selective font system prevents editor slowdown by loading only fonts you actually use. This approach ensures:
- Faster editor loading times
- Responsive text formatting controls
- Optimal editing experience
NOTE: Custom font uploads are not currently supported
Font Categories and Language Support
Character Set Labels Font entries include tags showing supported character sets:
- Latin: Basic Western alphabet support
- Sinhala, Latin Extended: Extended language and character support
- Multiple tags indicate broader language compatibility
International Documents For documents requiring special characters or non-Latin scripts, look for fonts with appropriate character set support indicated in their tags.
