Mapping CRM fields to Proposify

Integrating your CRM with Proposify allows you to pull live field data directly into your documents and templates. Follow the steps below to get connected and configure your fields.

Connect Your CRM

Find your CRM and follow the steps to select which objects and fields you want to import into Proposify.

Mapping CRM fields in the Template Editor

In the template editor, open variables from the side panel or by using the shortcut key "[" while editing text.

This will open up the variables menu. You can find and use CRM fields from the "Integrations" folder. Each integration and object you have configured will show up in this area.

Mapping CRM fields in the Editor

Sometimes you may not know ahead of time which fields to use, or what data they will have. In these cases, it can be better to first create a document from your template, link it to the integration, and then map the fields.

When opening the Integrations variables in the editor, only variables that have values will show up in the menu

Start by linking the integration to the document. From the document settings, go to Link Integration, find a deal/opportunity to link to, and then save.

Note: You may need to refresh the editor for the integration fields to show up.

With the integration linked you can map the variables in and see their values directly.

When you are done, save the document back as a template to save the variable mappings for future documents.
