Connecting CRM pricing data

CRM Pricing lets you automatically pull line items and pricing directly from your CRM deals into your documents. It currently supports Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics and Pipedrive. Instead of manually typing out prices or copying data, you set it up once in a template and it works for every document you create. The pricing stays in sync with your deal too; if you change anything in your CRM, it'll reflect in your document.

How It Works

You create a pricing table in your document template and map it to your CRM deal data. When you link a deal to a document, all the line items and prices populate automatically. Change the deal you're linked to? The table shrinks or expands to match.

Setting Up Your Template

Create Your Pricing Table

Start with a text table in your template. A two-column table works fine for basics (item name and price), but you can add as many columns as you need.

Map Your CRM Fields

You'll use variables to connect your table to your CRM data. Here's the simple approach:

  1. Click the first cell where you want to add data
  2. Go to Variables in the side panel
  3. Select Integrations > your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive) > Deal
  4. Choose the field you want (for example, Line Item Name or Price)
  5. Repeat for each column

Format Your Rows

Any formatting you apply to the first row, bold, colours, font size, automatically applies to every row below it. So format once and you're done.

Add a Total Row

If you want a total at the bottom, change the last row to a Footer Row and add your total formula there. Just type "Total" and grab the deal amount field from your CRM.

Using It in Your Documents

Link a Deal

When you create a new document, link it to a deal in your CRM. All your pricing data pulls in automatically and displays in your table.

Update Your Pricing

If you need to change anything in your CRM, it'll sync to your document about every minute. No manual updates needed.

Switch Deals

You can change which CRM deal the document is linked to anytime. The table updates right away to show the correct line items and pricing.

Key Features and Benefits

Build Once, Use Forever

Combine multiple CRM fields in a single column. You can also pull in custom fields if you've set them up in your CRM.

Automatic Updates

CRM data refreshes about every minute, so your documents stay in sync with your deals without any extra work.

Easy to Modify

You can still edit and customize the table in individual documents if you need to. The template mapping stays intact.

FAQs

Do I have to set this up every time I create a document?

No. You set it up once in your template, and it's ready for every document you create from that template.

What if I change the deal?

Just link the document to a different deal in your CRM. The table updates automatically to show the new line items and pricing.

Can I include custom fields from my CRM?

Yes. As long as your custom fields are set up in your CRM, you can add them to your pricing table.

How often does the data sync?

CRM data syncs to your documents about every minute, so you're always working with current pricing.

Can I still edit the table after it's set up?

Absolutely. You can modify, format, or customize the table in any individual document. Your template stays the same.
