Using the preview mode

Preview mode shows exactly how your document will appear to recipients. This view helps you review your document's presentation and test interactive elements before sending.

What Recipients See

Document Layout Recipients see a clean, professional view of your document without editing tools or administrative buttons. The Share button visible in your preview won't appear for recipients.

Table of Contents Navigation The left sidebar displays your document sections as a clickable table of contents, allowing recipients to jump directly to relevant sections like pricing or next steps.

Interactive Elements Recipients can engage with your document through:

  • Pricing Tables: Adjust quantities or select optional items if you've configured editable rows
  • Signature Fields: Complete electronic signatures when ready to move forward
  • Form Elements: Fill out any custom forms you've included

Viewer Identification

Email Verification When someone views your document for the first time, they'll be prompted to enter their email address. This one-time identification provides you with:

  • Viewer analytics and engagement tracking
  • Notification when specific people view your document
  • Detailed insights into which sections receive the most attention

Disabling Identification You can turn off the email requirement for specific documents through the Share dropdown settings if you prefer anonymous viewing.
