Learn how to efficiently send, get signatures, and track performance using the V3 Proposify Editor. This guide walks you through the complete process from sharing to analytics.

Getting Started with Sharing

When your document is ready for delivery, locate the Share button in the top-right corner of the editor interface.

You'll be presented with two sharing options:

  • Share with a recipient – Provides view and signature permissions for your clients
  • Share with a collaborator – Grants edit, approval, and signature permissions for team members

Document Sharing Process

When you select Share with a recipient, a sharing panel displays the following information:

  • The proposal title (automatically populated)
  • The recipient information (your client contact)
  • The sender information (document owner details)

You'll need to complete these additional fields:

  • A clear, descriptive subject line
  • A brief, professional message to accompany your document

For more control over delivery, you can copy the document link and send it through your own email client.

Recipients will need to verify their email address to access the document when they open the link, ensuring proper tracking and security:

Tracking Engagement with Analytics

After sending your document, leverage the built-in analytics to monitor recipient engagement:

  1. Navigate to the Insights tab in your document list
  2. Open the Analytics section for your document

The analytics dashboard provides valuable metrics including:

  • Viewer identification (who viewed the document)
  • Viewing timestamps (when it was accessed)
  • Engagement metrics (total views and view duration)
  • Recent activity (last viewed date)
  • Content performance (top 5 most viewed sections)

These insights help you gauge client interest, determine optimal follow-up timing, and refine your document strategy for better results.
