The Proposify Slack Automation makes is super easy to track Proposify events in your Slack channels!

This automation is part of Proposify's new Automations that is replacing our existing Legacy Integrations. During this early phase, all Automations will be available to all current plans (accounts on legacy plans will need to select one of our current plans to gain access).

Setup

As an Admin in the Proposify account, or a user with permission to access Integrations, navigate to "Integrations" -> "Automations" -> "Slack"Integration Marketplace 2024-09-25 at 1.13.41 PM.jpg

Click “Configure” to connect an instance. You can optionaly rename the instance or move on to connecting by clicking "Next".

Connect Proposify and then enter the Slack webhook URL.

On the final settings page, select which events you want notifications for and then hit “Finish”. Now you're all connected!

Creating the Slack Webhook

To generate a Slack incoming webhook URL:

  • Navigate to https://api.slack.com/apps
  • Click Create New App, adding an app to your workspace.
  • Under Features, select Incoming Webhooks
  • Click Activate Incoming Webhooks

Customization

Using the Workflow Builder template, you can create a customized Slack Automation.
