To create amazing, yet precise documents in our editor, our helpers will bring ease to ensuring the necessary content is aligned and tidy to win over your prospective clients and seal the deal.

Select any of our core helpers by expanding the dropdown menus to see what each helper element offers and how it can enhance your document.

  • Alignment lines will automatically appear when you click on a content block, and begin to move it around on the canvas. The lines will help keep blocks centred and spaced with clean visuals:

  • Layering content allows multiple blocks or images to be placed on the canvas at once by right-clicking on the block you'd like to layer. The Signature Block will always be placed on the very top of any block on the canvas to ensure your client(s) can always access their signature block:

  • When any block is added to the canvas, taking that block to the edge and into the margin will continue to highlight the block. If you place a block on top of another block, alignment lines will also show to help with block placement:

Notice how the signature block cannot be placed outside of the canvas, unlike the table!
  • The canvas is set with two margins to the right and left of the page, which aids in block placement (especially when dragging and dropping content onto the canvas) - any block that is brought to the margin will force a pop-up in the lower-right-hand corner of the page.
This is to ensure content blocks are never pushed into the margins to be lost, and acts as a way to keep signature blocks on the canvas page at all times:

  • Made a mistake? The Undo button is a great way to instantly revert the most recent edit, or, Redo it:

  • To style any text you've added to the page, the toolbar at the top contains several formatting options. Simply highlight the text you'd like to style and watch as the formatting updates:

Unhappy with the styling? To quickly remove any current formatting for text, select the Clear Formatting icon on the toolbar:

  • Content Blocks can be styled to give them an extra pop by selecting the edit button at the top of the block. You can add borders to text blocks or image blocks and can adjust the colour of the border, select what part of the border will show, round the corners and add a background colour:

  • Variables are a great solution to removing potential errors with manual data entry and can allow users to quickly change pieces of information like all instances of Company Name within the document. To begin using variables, click inside of a textbox, and press the open square bracket key "[":

In the editor, you'll notice that all variables are highlighted in blue. If a variable doesn't have a value yet, you'll see its name instead. When you're working with variables in a Template, they’ll always display their names.

On the left side, there's a variable menu that lists all the variables used in your document at the top. It's a handy way to quickly check if any variables are missing a value.
