Updating preview settings

You can click the “show preview settings” button at the top right of the page to change your proposal's look:

Click this button to see the full list of options available to tailor this proposal for your clients’ eyes.

You can also set default settings for all future proposal under the Client Previews page in Settings. Click here to read more.

Here are those options in the Display settings tab:

Display Settings

Set Colour

This lets you set the background colour of your proposal. Looking to match the colour of your brand (or your client’s)? Click the fill box next to “set option”:

Then select your colour from our colour box (or use a hex code if you’re super-pro) and the background of your proposal will match! We’ll also edit the shade of the text in your table of contents so you don’t have to fiddle around too much.

Made a change and had second thoughts? Click “use default” above the fill box:

This will revert the changes to the default settings found in your workspace preview settings (found in Workspaces), or default preview settings (found in Client Preview).

Show Side Panel

Sometimes you need as much screen real estate as possible. Other times, you may want to follow the “less is more” philosophy and reduce distractions from your proposal. In these cases, you may want to remove the side panel and limit focus only to your proposal and that beautiful “sign” button. You can deselect the checkbox next to “show side panel” to remove the left-hand panel entirely.

Show Table of Contents

If you’d like to keep the logo, but remove the table of contents itself, you can deselect “show table of contents”. This will remove the table of contents from your proposal.

Sometimes you’d rather keep the table of contents, but keep branding to a minimum. If that’s the case, you can deselect “show logo” to remove the logo from your proposal.

Speaking of the logo, you may not have one set as the default for your workspace or account yet! If that’s the case, this will automatically remain blank. Simply click and drag an image file from your desktop to the page in order to have that logo added to your proposal:

For logos, we accept JPEGs, PNGs and GIFs, provided their size is a max 1000x1000 pixels so be creative!

Did you accidentally replace your branded logo with “homer_simpson_giving_finger.gif”? It’s happened to all of us, don’t worry! You can click “replace” found beneath the logo:

This will prompt your file manager on your computer, where you can quickly find a proper logo image before anyone notices.
