One of the tedious parts of the proposal process is the task of rewriting the same content over and over again. Our goal is to make this easier. Similar to templates, sections, images, and small chunks of text, we also make it easier to save and import fees so you don't have to type the same thing more than once.

Saving From A Fee Table

If you've created a fee table in a proposal, section, or template, you can save that fee to your fee library with a couple of clicks. First, click into the row you would like to save until you see a blinking cursor. From there, click the "Copy To Fee Library" button:

You'll know this has succeeded when a green notification appears on the page:

Importing From CSV

If you've created a fee database from another source as a CSV file, you can import that file and automatically add all of those fees to your library.

To do so, first enter your fee library by going to the content library and clicking the "Fees" tab:

Once there, click the "Import" button on the right-hand side of the page:

A pop-up menu will appear asking you to import a file:

You can drag and drop the file directly from your desktop, or use the file menu to locate the CSV file directly. You can also download a sample CSV file if you'd like to make extra sure of the formatting, or if you just prefer to manage fees in Excel/Sheets/Numbers.

Once the file has been uploaded, you'll be asked to map the columns in the file:

If some of these fields aren't included in your CSV, or just aren't applicable (such as "Optional for clients"), you can opt out by choosing "select a column" from the dropdown:

All columns except for Name and Price can be opted out of. However, Name and Price are required in order to import.

Once you've mapped your columns, click the "Import Fees" button at the bottom of the options list:

Depending on the size of your list, and how complicated it is, it may take some time for these to import. Give it a while to process before refreshing the page or starting over.

Once the import is complete, you'll get a confirmation message:

And all of your fees will be added to your library:

Once added, all you need to do is import these fees into a proposal. Not sure how to do that? Click here!
